The show is all about 2D and 3D art. It is promoted and managed by artists with more than 50 years experience participating in juried art festivals. We are committed to major and wide-spread advertising in print, social media and airwaves. The County Visitors Bureau and Salida Chamber of Commerce are promoting the event as well.
Salida is 80 miles from Breckenridge and 140 miles from Denver/Cherry Creek. The show is in the height of the tourist season in the Upper Arkansas Valley. The town typically draws thousands of destination tourists in the summer and they all will drive past the show location.
There are restaurants in the area and motels in the immediate vicinity.

2020 Show Hours:
Sat. June 27th, 10am-6pm and Sun. June 28th, 11am-5pm
The event is free to the public.

Booth Information and Set-up

Check in is at the show management tent on the highway side near Holman Ave (across the street from Collegiate Peaks Bank). You must check in prior to setup. Setup begins at 10:00 AM on June 28th. Someone will be on site until 7pm to help you find your location. Many of of the locations will require a dolly for setup. We will have some help available for set up and take down. You need to be setup and open by 10am Saturday.
Booths are 10’ x 10’ or 10′ x 20′. Booths have at least 2’ in back storage. We require that your display fit in the allotted space. There will be paid security, (off duty police officer) Friday and Saturday nights, 6pm – 8am.

10 x 10 booth in line – $330
Corner booth – add $75
Electricity is available for $50.00

Options are not guaranteed and will be assigned by booth fee payment date after jury selection.
Please make your choice for location in your application. If your options are available, they are charged after your acceptance.

Salida Arts Festival

The Salida Arts Festival is located in Salida, Colorado one of the premier arts destinations in Colorado. Salida was rated #30 in John Villani’s book “The 100 best art towns in America”. The fair is located on, and visible from one of the major east/west highways in the state. Over 15,000 cars a day drive right by the show site. It is also located adjacent to the Salida Aquatic Center, a natural hot springs swimming pool, a major draw in the Salida area.

The Arts Fair is run by and for artists. Jerry Scavezze has done (and is still actively doing) shows for over 20 years. He understands the needs of artists and the importance of a shows location. The show will be limited to 100 juried artists. There will be no amplified music, liquor, or food booths associated with the show. The Show would make a nice add on to Cherry Creek or Breckenridge over the 4^th of July, or Boulder or Ft. Collins the following weekend.
